@terresa.nash, under 12 they can still learn chores and responsibilities at home. But I think DEF as a parent we should make their food, help with homework, and typical parental things. I know some kids who are left to fend for themselves at a young age and i don’t think they should be made to grow up at such a young age if that makes sense

Depends on the age. I have two teens that I don’t do everything for like their laundry, chores and bedrooms. I do everything for my toddler though.
