Without starting an argument witch so far I haven't seen any what do you mom's think of vaccinating your kids. We did all the ones we got as a kid but we don't feel right doing like the flu shot every year or what ever new one pops up
@spookylyn, You hit the nail on the head regarding whooping cough.
We do not do the oral RotoVirus because it is not recommended for any child who has a family member in the home that’s considered immunocompromised. Our son with special needs has a compromised immune system therefor none of our children get the routine Rotovirus portion.
I am required as a nurse to have a flu shot, and our son JJ qualifies for a yearly added vaccination that is only offered to those considered “at risk”.
Im pro vaccine and the flu shot as well because i never did it often but my son is prone to getting the flu and if it helps in any way he's getting it this year. My mom almost died from the flu so it scares me now.
We vaccinate all our kids plus the flu shots. My mom had alot of health problems so that's why we get the flu shots. My nephew his wife won't do there kids and they can't be around alot of people because they get sick...his wife clams.
We don't do them all. Required, yes. But there are some that really don't make sense because the chances of them getting the disease it's meant to prevent is so low, we never travel anywhere to be exposed to much more than the flu. I haven't been sick in forever but I may get the flu shot while I'm pregnant because baby will be here in November and it would be easier for her to catch it since she will be so new but after that, no. We don't get it, she won't either.
@boymamaa I completely agree the basic just like me and my husband got and we are doing fine , however I don't see anything wrong with people that don't just not something I would do
