So I had a doctors appointment yesterday and they did that Sean thing and checked me they told me I was not dilated what are somethings I can do to help dilate? I am 36weeks and 5 days
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
sorry moms tmi but I had some good loving and I enjoyed it. I wonder can it help me dilate and get things going
Doctors today praying they tell me I dilated more and send me to l&d so they don't have to induce me :) !!
Contraction questions I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
3 cm dilated gonna have me walk around for a few hours to see if i progress or loose more fluid then go from there. If i don't dilate more I'll be going home.

Things that can possibly help you dilate is walking a lot and sex but it won't happen until your body is ready for it to. Once you hit 37/38 weeks, you have a better chance of helping the process along. Also, speak to your doctor about getting a membrane sweep when it's safe to because I believe that helped me, o had 2 done. One at 38 weeks and one at 39 weeks. I went into labor 2 days after my due date.

No need to be dilated at this point. It means nothing in regards to impending labor.

Just let it happen naturally . Dilation means nothing . I was 2 cm from 30 weeks til i was induced , and I wouldn’t even dilate when induced . Baby will come when ready.

@annadoran09, I was honestly fine this whole pregnancy it was kind of a breeze and then a week or two ago it hit me like a ton of bricks and I am sooo uncomfortable now. Are you effaced at all?

I'm right there with you...36 weeks 4 days. Also had a doctor's appointment yesterday and not dilated at all. 60% effaced. So ready to have this baby but also want him to come when he's ready 😫
