Need some ideas on how to get a dog that needs to pee outside when it's raining. Because I'm done with her peeing inside the house because she does not want to get wet!!
I think that’s all dogs. My 3 dogs refuse to go outside and potty. The good thing is that they will hold it over 24hrs if they don’t want to go outside. I usually end up walking my Aussie and frenchie to get them to go outside. But my mastiff refuses to step outside. He lays his entire body down and there is no way you can get him to move. He’s gone over 24hrs without using the bathroom.
@tinyhumansbitch my dog does not like anything on her so that would be a no go.
@mokai08 I have a German Shepherd
That's my type of dog btw. They have different sizes
We use doggy grass on the balcony. Could be in a mud room. I'll post a pic
Try dog boots and a rain jacket for our pup. My dog was the same way. He hated water and was such a drama queen
@scream.queen dosent work she wont step out the door if she see the rain.
@penelope127 my dog wont even go out with me she like 👋
What about going out with her with an umbrella?
We have a fenced in yard, and the only thing that works is I have to stand outside while he goes. If I just watch from the door, he won’t go.
@itslinny yea but my dog will soak the puppy pad.
Mine does the same thing...have you tried puppy pads?
I’m gonna have to get a new bed because my son decided to pee all over it 😭if only money wasn’t a problem 😪

We better not get any baseball sized hail because I do it need that 😬 stay safe today @leonardsquared,

I’m getting really sick of my mom telling me Keenan needs to cut his hair because he is a boy😡
Is it true that when you get an epidural, they have to insert a catheter to pee in because you can't feel when you have to go while you have it?!
Did anybody get disparage or start peeing a whole lot before their water broke? Just needing information.
I get pee pads work for a lot of people but teaching a dog it’s ok to use the bathroom inside is a nightmare. For the reason they will forever thinks it’s ok to go inside especially on things that look like a pee pad like a bath mat. Some of our puppy families really regret using them because it’s an even harder habit to break. We breed French Bulldogs and I’ve had a couple adults who really dislike the rain and would NOT go outside. We had a dog trainer come in after a month the behaviour was corrected and with a jacket the two would happily go out with the others. It’s worth a shot consulting with a trainer!
