Whats the 'scariest' or 'overwhelming' part of giving birth? And how many did not know or still dont know the gender of your baby? ^-^

Two hours before I started to push and the actual pushing! My epidural wasn’t working anymore and the contractions and the pressure was awful! I kept feeling like I had to push but it wasn’t time yet. The pushing took forever and they had to give me an episiotomy because my baby was really big!!

Scariest part for me was during the pushing when I started feeling my vag ripping open up to my clit and I was like I’m DYING!!! And the nurse told me to calm down... I think if I had known that ripping up was normal and it would all heal just fine then I’d have been less freaked out lol

The scariest part for me was after pushing for 3 hours I was told he was stuck and they would have to use the vacuum to get him out.

Just before they tell you to push for the first time. Even though I had an epidural, I was freaked out of how actually pushing the baby out would feel, or that I wouldn’t be able to push baby out, or something like that. It was fine! The worst part during pushing with an epidural was no water—- my throat was killing me, that and it sucks when one of your stirrups break! Also when they take baby out and take them into the corner of the room- especially if they call the NICU nurses in- you have no idea what’s happening and you can’t move because you’re hooked up, not to mention being stitched up.

The scariest part for me was right before I started pushing. I just broke down and started crying because I was terrified thinking I wasn't ready to be a mom. Happened with both of babies. The second time I was afraid that I couldn't love another little child as much as I love my first, but as soon as they laid her on me it was an overwhelming feeling of love that rushed over me. Getting an epidural can be scary as well but once they numb you where they actually insert the needle you really only feel pressure. If you plan on getting an epidural make sure you communicate with the anesthesiologist if you feel any pain when they are threading the catheter into your back. That way they know it is in the right spot.

Scariest part for me was when my water broke at 8cm dilated after 10 hours of labor! It made it even more real and that I was going to have my baby in my arms very very soon! Endorphins hit full speed and do did contractions 😆

The scariest for me was actually pushing but it ended up being the easiest thing. The worst part for me was getting my epidural I felt like they took forever and getting that needle stuck in my arm bc they had to do it 3 time cause they kept losing my vein.

What do YOU judge

Clearly, no one is a perfect parent nor do we know everything. But what’s something you judge a parent off of or just irks you?

I have older children and working on baby #4 maybe I should have clarified the age group
