Tell me I'm not the only one who gives their kids 'picnic' evening meal when they're too exhausted to cook 😂 usually consists of sandwich, cucumber, orange, grapes, banana, yoghurt and a chocolate bar 🙈🙈🙈

This sounds like a great meal to me 😂

I have done this many times. I don't know why I feel bad when I do, because they always eat more than they would a cooked meal! 😂

@sara-lou86 I'm glad I'm not the only one! Sometimes I'm just too exhausted, but I agree he can eat more that way than he does his cooked meals! It's mostly healthy so I'm not worried there, just makes me feel awful that I'm fobbing him off with a picnic, he enjoys it nonetheless 😂

Same. Both my boys are ecstatic when I do it. Morgan can eat for England when it's finger food but put a cooked meal in front of him and I'm lucky if he takes 2 bites! Unless it's burger or fish fingers lol.

Yep I do this too. Especially if I’ve been working till late. They both get decent meals at school and nursery so a picnic tea is no concern. Mine tend to eat this better too.
