When can you start ovulation testing? I think my period is ending today and I am wondering if it will be ok to start testing? An how long dose ovulation last? My period app says the 16th I should be ovulating. Someone help me/message me

I started about a couple of days after my period is done. If you start too soon after your period, it will pick up the Lh hormone.
So my period is 5 days, I start cd7. I start testing every afternoon around the same time. For me it’s 4pm. Once the lines start getting close, I would test again 4 hours later to see if it’s a positive. If it’s not test again mid-morning, never test with the strip using fmu. Once you get your first positive test it’s going to be released the next 12-36 hours.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
