I'm up with insomnia trying to watch a movie online of which 85% I don't understand because its in another language 😂 But I remember enough from watching it before with subtitles to know the gist of what's being said, I'm still about ready to splurge a little on youtube and buy the version with subtitles cause its so much funnier with them tho. 😏

@alice-quinnsmommy Saving Face (I think it was released in 2005), its about a "taboo" lesbian romance between two modern Chinese american twenty-something women, one (an up-and-coming socially awkward surgeon) has very old country, old fashioned parents and the other's (shes a much more laid back ballet dancer) parents divorced when she was a kid (something that's really frowned upon in Chinese culture, in fact her mom was pretty much ostracised by the other prominent women in their community) what makes it even more drama filled is the ballet dancer's dad happens to be her lover's boss (the seasoned head surgeon who's position she'll hopefully someday have) so there's that extra layer of entanglements. (The Chinese community is kind of a small world even in big cities) Its such a cute romance, the characters seem to have on screen chemistry and its super comical when family comes into the picture
