So I breastfeed in public. No big deal right? Well today I finally experienced judgement from someone. She didn’t say much but I was surprised.

So we went to the fair for some food. I was wearing my son. While my husband and our friend ordered food at one of the stands my son starts crying and trying to make his way to my boob so I decide I will feed him while we wait. So I go over to where there are 2 picnic tables away from the main walkway back behind/beside the food stand. Nobody is there and there is another foodstand beside it so I’m not in main sight of really anyone. (I try my best to be discrete) so I get all settled and start feeding my son. There are 2 large picnic tables pushed to gather and I sit down and a few minutes later this woman comes and sits directly beside me. Like really? There are like 12 other spots. Then her kids and 2 other ladies come over and before the kids even get to the table she made them sit on the opposite side of the table. (Mind you I am sitting at the table but turned away not facing the actual table part) so that her kids are facing my back. And she has the nerve to keep looking at me giving me dirty looks and as soon as I’m done and start burping she is like ok kids let’s hurry up it’s time to get up and leave. I wanted to be like hey lady I was here first and you are the one who sat directly in the seat next to me. Even my husband walked up mid feed and asked if they were here when I sat down because they were all sitting so close to me when there were tons of other seats. I just laughed and said no. I was all alone. People are so weird sometimes.
