Why are people boycotting it?

@leximonae1k kapernick is the new spokesperson and everyone has their panties in a bunch since he kneels to protest.

@leximonae1k, because recently Colin Kapernick was made the face of Nike & they don’t agree with his movement. Which I 100% stand behind everything he’s doing.

I’ve been in and around military family my entire life , the only people claiming what he is doing is disrespectful are racists my whole family stands for his movement. Nothing about his silent protest is disrespectful to anyone in this country & or flag. The way we treat people of color in this country is extremely distasteful & anyone who isn’t blind can see there are very distinct privileges.

This is the best thing I’ve found on this whole subject.

I'm also a military brat. Especially the story behind why he kneels should be reason enough for people to not give AF.

@leximonae1k, he didn’t if his movement didn’t involve the entire black community nobody would have a issue....hes doing the right thing & so is Nike. A veteran gave him the idea and he put it into play. Our boy Donnie trump has disrespected veterans on multiple occasions but nobody’s protesting his rude ass 🤢.

I just went out and bought the kids some Nikes!! We got you Kaepernick and Nike... Just keep doing what you're doing!

As a military brat, i dont think he shouldve been paid millions of dollars to throw a football if he couldnt stand for our national anthem .

@boymamaa, my grandpa, dad & Fiancé fight/fought for his right to peacefully protest & kneel during the anthem...I don’t believe in god that doesn’t mean I’m disrespecting my country by not participating in “one nation under god”.

@boymamaa, trump gets paid pretty hefty to disrespect past war hero’s as well where do you stand on that , when he made the comment about McCain getting captured saying “war hero’s don’t get captured”...that wasn’t disrespectful to all men who have served?

My husband is retired army infantry, almost lost his leg and life in Afghanistan. In his words, he almost died to protect freedom of all kinds, even if he doesn’t agree with it. He protected everyone, even ones who disrespect and discredit his and every military personnel’s sacrifice. Good for Nike. Plus I like their shoes 😏
