:: I’m having constipation type cramps that have been consistent for about 20 minutes now. It’s one continuous long cramp. I went and peed and pooped (I’m sorry tmi) a little. But I’m still having the cramp pain. I had a normal BM earlier. So I wouldn’t think I’m constipated but I guess I still could be.
My question is, is there something else wrong??? I’m really freaking out right now and I’m not home to check for a heartbeat. I’m 3.5 hours away.
No bleeding as of now.
@worlds.okayest.mom, yeah. Hm. Mine was on my lower back. It’s tapering Off finally. So I think I’m going to pee one more time 🙄 (pregnancy bladder) and try to sleep it off. I thought I was out of the worry zone once we did our initial 8 wk US but this put me right back into it. 🤦🏻♀️
It really does sound like the iron messing you up. Kidney pain is almost mid back. I had a kidney infection before and you feel like you're going to die
@worlds.okayest.mom, wow. My first pregnancy was so easy going and lax that I feel like I got off really easy. So I guess I expected this one to be a little different but still mostly easy. But the farther along I get the harder it’s getting on me. I planned to call my OB Monday if I woke up still feeling this way. It was hurting in my lower back earlier and I wondered about a possible kidney infection. I’ve been drinking 100 oz of water a day though so I truly don’t think that’s it. I just started iron for my anemia. So it’s probably lingering constipation due to the added iron. I may call my OB Monday just to be sure but I want to see how i feel in the morning too. I mean, even if it’s worse. There’s probably not much they can do anyway. 😞
That's awesome. The fear with early pregnancy is a tubal pregnancy. Just sounds like normal round ligament pain. It gets worse with each subsequent pregnancy.
I had cramps before the bleed, but it was labor pains. Like, I knew I was having a miscarriage because it felt like labor. It could be something like an infection though, so define get in first thing Monday with your OB. Not to be a dick, what most women don't think of is going in is just wasting time before viability. You get freaked out by a diagnosis of threatened miscarriage or something and sent on your way with a Tylenol.
@worlds.okayest.mom, yes. At 8 weeks. Just had my 12 week appt last week and baby sounded good. But I don’t get another ultrasound until 16 weeks which is elective. Not with my OB.
@worlds.okayest.mom, ok. I’ve just felt off all day today. Oddly uncomfortable. Then when hubby and I were lying in bed watching a show, it came on and just got really sharp off and on for 20 min. And I knew what type of pain it was but I’ve never had it last that long and that’s what has scared me. When I came back from the bathroom I was freezing and shaking. So probably just had a mini anxiety attack then. I’ve never had a miscarriage before and didn’t know if sometimes you cramp before you bleed.
Best advice I can give is to take max dose pain reliever, wait an hour, then if the pain still won't let up, go in. Have you had a viability scan to make sure babe is implanted in the uterus?
Then definitely not. I've had a miscarriage before and it doesn't feel like constipation or diarrhea.
Like there’s nothing really to time because there’s no stop to the cramp. It’s been going on for about 20 min now. My constipation cramps have never lasted this long though so that’s why I’m freaking out that something else is going on.
@worlds.okayest.mom, it’s one continuous cramp that eases up but is still painful then gets painful again. But it doesn’t feel like a contraction. And my period cramps are usually pretty dull and annoying. But I get constipation cramps quite often even when not pregnant that double me over in pain. This is what that feels like.
Especially with no bleeding, I'd say it's nothing to worry about
Are you able to time them? Like "it lasts for a minute, then no cramp for 5 minutes, then cramp for a full minute" or just crampy?

Took a test because I still haven’t gotten my period after my nexplanon removal and it was negative.
I have most of my pms symptoms right now.
Bloat. Cramps. Discharge. Constipation.
Ok now I’m like damn I wish B.B. was still here so I can become a B.B. mom 🤣🤣
I’m a first time mommy and I been having such horrible cramps, (not horrible enough to go to the ER) they’re tolerable but very uncomfortable anyone have advice on how to ease the cramps? I took Tylenol but still cramping. I’m 6 weeks so I know it’s normal but still very uncomfortable.. HELP😭

Yep I did the ugly cry, I’m still in disbelief!
I totally get it. After my miscarriage, I had a SCH with the next pregnancy and every twinge brought worry. Try to rest and stay calm.
