Love too hear experiences moms had moving and having to switch obs at 8 and a half months pregnant I'm wondering what the first visit will be like what they will have me do I have all records from my ob we moved from and will be having my old ob office fax over all records as well very curious though

@malbhurtado, I think there open tomorrow I'm gonna try and make an appointment for the end of this next week so if needed through the week make sure things are faxed to them and they have them on file or if needed I take in the day before all my records for them to have put in and ready to go and I guess ask how to handle it and what they will do I don't like going into things not knowing or taken by surprise
I made sure I had records especially if records don't get faxed or I have to go to the hospital for any reason I have them handy
@malbhurtado, so at my last appointment with the ob before moving I had them print all my records and I have them with me so I should be good not to have to go through all the like first prenatal visit blood work and everything right? And not asked a million questions

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I switched at 34 weeks. I had to have my old clinic fax the records to my new clinic. Then I did an OB intake over the phone where they asked me all about my history. Once I got to my first appt it was just a standard appt because they had already gathered all my info. Then I made sure to do a hospital tour and pre-register asap.
