Moms I need recommendations! My son's birthday is in December and I'm due in February. We are having his first birthday…

@keelygeedy, just make sure to keep an eye on Thanksgiving. Don’t do it the weekend after as a lot of ppl travel!

@amysbabies, I'm thinking November will be the best. December is just a crowded month with Christmas and his first birthday. And I would do it in January but then I risk might not being able to get everything in time for when baby arrives.

We are having our baby shower 9/16 skipping two weeks and having our daughters bday early on 10/6. I would say do it the second week in January OR early Dec as well, but different week than sons bday. Maybe even the week before Thanksgiving? Then you can use any gift cards on Black Friday :).

@mimixtmn, That's what I thought of doing but wasn't to sure. My family lives quit a distance from me and I'm afraid they either won't show up for his first birthday or the baby shower.

I’d say to be safe do the shower in November. I couldn’t handle all the chaos of a birthday party, baby shower, Christmas & New Years all in one month lol. If you wait until January and baby comes early or not it would only give you a month or less really to get everything together for baby.

So if all is normal goal would be 36 weeks (Jan 5th) but if worried about early again I would say 33 weeks (Dec 15th paired to 1st would be most optimal) assuming sons bday party is the 1st or 8th though.
