You’d be meeting her through the plastic of an incubator. Wanting your child to come at 32 weeks isn’t a great thought. Wanting time to go but faster is 👌🏼. Wanting your baby to be a preemie is definitely bad.

I feel you, I'm 33 weeks and in pain when i walk, so much pain. i want her out just so i dont have to endure it anymore, but i want her to stay in for as long as possible and be healthy- im at high risk for pre-term labor due to bleeding. Not much longer, we are almost at the finish line!❤

@kittycupcake, it's okay I'm not blaming you one bit. Your doctor should know better then to base weight off of an ultrasound.

An ultrasound is a horrible way to predict baby's weight. It's an estimate and can be way off. I was told at 34 that my son was weighing at 10 pounds and measuring at 42 weeks and they wanted to induce me for it. Luckily I didn't let them and he came at 39 weeks and weighed 7 pounds 4.9 ounces not 10 pounds like they claimed. And as far as baby being low it doesn't mean baby will come anytime soon.

@amysbabies He told me he doesn't know. He needs to see another ultrasound.

@kittycupcake, I would ask him seriously how much time he thinks you have, if he thinks before 37 weeks, you should bring up, shouldn’t I be getting a specific shot or something? I know he knows what he is doing, but I would have a million questions. Take care!!!!

Try a little light exercise or bouncing on a birthing ball. You can also take a regular dose of Tylenol not ibuprofen.

@mhbb3 Also I always feel her head in my pelvis and the pressure of it feels like her head is going to pop out.

@mhbb3 True its not good for her to come this early. I just wish the pain wasn't this bad all the time.

It would be horrible for her to come now. My daughter spent six weeks in the nicu as a 32 weeker.

No you're not a bad person for wanting to meet her but you shouldn't be hoping she comes this early in my opinion. Its not good.

@amysbabies Yea my Ob said at the very beginning of my pregnency that she would be born early because I have a shorter cervix then most women do. He also said since I'm small that it could just be that I make small babies. I know every pregnency is different, I just want to be understood is all. He used to have me on bed rest when she was breeched but she turned around and Is head down now so he took me off.

I understand the excitement, but it’s best to do everything to keep her in. Does he really think she is coming early? If so I think he would have put you on bedrest or had you have the special shots for lung development. Best wishes!

@laniejay That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying I think about it not that I am trying to make her be born now. I'm sorry but I'm only human and If you want to fault me for having thoughts about wanting her to be born when im in pain and desperately need somthing to think about then that's on you. I'm just saying that people have thoughts all the time does that mean were going to actually do them or actually push to make them happen? No not really. I know she would be a preemie and I don't want that for her but just because I have had thoughts of it would be easier doesn't mean I actually want it to happen. When your angry at someone and to let off steam in the heat of the moment don't we as humans end up saying stupid shit we don't mean? That doesn't mean we actually want that person to get hurt or we actually want what we say to really happen its what helps us deal with it at that point in time.

I’m sorry you’re going through a painful pregnancy. It’s hard because you want her here so badly but stay positive and wait it out a few more weeks. It sounds like you have severe symphysis pubic dysfunction. Most obs brush this symptom off as a pregnancy related symptom ie severe round ligament pain and suggest belly bands however it does nothing to ease the pain. Look into a maternity support suit like maternalift and possibly physical therapy. Even after you have that precious baby you’ll still suffer for a few weeks possibly months until everything tightens back up. There are other options to look at as well. Search symphysis pubic dysfunction pregnancy support suits and you’ll see many options that may work well for you.

It’s far more painful to watch you’re child endure all they do as a preemie. I’d take the pain my kid went through and goes through any day - If I could bear it all for him I would.

@jenny955 Im saying fingers crossed because it's bitter sweet. When your feeling so much pain and I mean really bad because her head is so low in my pelvic area its sometimes all I can think about. In the middle of the night when your holding your belly and crying or moaning in your sleep because it hurts so bad you cant breath. Sorry to say but yes I think and yes I say think about it. Sometimes when it's too much I do hope she comes but then I have to refocus myself and tell myself its not time yet. I am doing everything I can to keep her in in resting, sleeping, eating, go in to my appointments. Me and my bf havnt been having sex eather because my Ob said its too dangerous for her now. I'm doing everything I can and yes I get frustrated that no matter how much I eat she wont gain an ounce. There are times when I pass out because of so much pain or I go into a seizure. No I don't have a medical history of seizures its just how my body deals with that much pain.

@kittycupcake hopefully baby stays put for few more weeks just concentrate on babys health and take deep breaths itll all be ok mama

@kittycupcake, 32 weeks is a preemie. It would NOT be easier if she was here already. I had a baby at 23 weeks and I would have taken all the pain in the world not to watch my kid fight for his life and be put through hell for months. He still has repercussions he deals with now. Trust when I say I’m being as nice as I possibly can right now in my comments. To want a child born as a preemie is as selfish as one can get.

@laniejay I'm not saying I want her to be a preemie or that I want to meet her from an incubator. I'm saying that I do think about it and at times its hard because I'm going through so much pain and yea I guiltily think of how much easier it would be if she came all ready. :/ This is my first child and this journey of carrying her has been rough and stressful but also rewarding.

Yeah u should definitely not want ur baby to come out at 32 weeks that’s terrible ur baby can have soo many complications or possibly death bkz not all premis make it ..

I felt selfish too 😂 I want to meet my girl and have been having contractions and dilated 3 cm and very low since 32 weeks .. but DEFINITELY try to hold out because at the least before 35 weeks isn't good definitely go as long as you can!!! If you try to make her come early then yes that would be very selfish .. it's normal well to me to have that feeling though
