I normally don’t get the flu shot but I did get it to protect the baby since she will be a fall/winter baby. The thing about the flu shot is it’s not 100%. It doesn’t protect against all the strands of the flu but I believe it’s better to protect against some rather than none.
I would get it I did last pregnancy and will this one.
I’m trying to decided right now also. I get the flu every year and it hits me so hard I can’t even function to take care of the kids. Dh wants me to get it this year because it knocks me down so hard but I’m pregnant and I’m not sure I want it as I have never had it before.
Big believer in medicine but def not the flu shot. Never had it and my kids won’t either
Nope. I didn't get he flu shot with any of my pregnancies. My doctor actually didn't recommend it, she said it's a waste it's not even 100%. That's the only shot I feel uncomfortable with, every vaccine I support, but I've always gotten sick from the flu shot, so I chose not to get it especially while pregnant.
Big believer in medicine👋 Always get one and so do my kids! Never gotten sick even when my nursing job had the flu epidemic I was literally the only man standing😂
I got one with all 4 pregnancies. Also remember your baby can’t get vaccinated for the flu until 6 months so the flu shot that you receive while pregnant will protect the baby until then.
I get mine every year why won’t try to many people have been dying from the flu
Don’t trust them, still trying to decide. Look for info in the internet and get well inform before a decision
Never gotten one in my life. Also only had the flu once or twice in my life. Probably once. If you breastfeed, that baby will be all set.
I’m super against medicine unless it’s really needed. I’ve never gotten a flu shot and wasn’t planning on it but I’m starting to consider it for the baby.
I usually don’t but I really think about it. I work with the public and don’t want to get the flu while pregnant.
