Anyone else get a horrible cough and sick after DTaP vaccine?? I'm having to take off work because I threw up all over myself from coughing, amongst other things. I got a shot that was supposed to protect me from cough yesterday... Wth?! Anyone with any insight please comment...

My arm felt sore at the injection site for 3 days after. I didn’t have a cough or feel sick after.

I have never gotten sick from it have gotten it twice before with each pregnancy maybe your are allergic to it?

I would ask doctor, maybe your sick now is unrelated even though it occurred after. Everyone in our family and friends (seriously we required about 20 of these shots) got it and the biggest complaint was it hurt for a couple hours in the arm muscle.

I've didn't get sick just sore arm ... But maybe it's possible it hit you a little because a little of the virus is in the shot that helps to make the baby immune

This is why I myself, do not get vaccines. I'm so sorry you're sick girl. Call the doctor. Hopefully it doesn't last long.
