Life update! We went ahead and booked our wedding in Mexico next year. We wanted to wait to see when/if I would get pregnant to decide when we should book, but ultimately decided that it’s best to wait 1 more year for a baby. I am sad to have to wait. But I know it’s best. I decided to stay off birth control until then, so when I’m ready, I will really know my cycle by then. I’ll be a little more quiet on here, but I will still be around. 😌

Takes 6 months to a year until the bc leaves and gives the medicine your using time to work

@kristenap Took a between a year and year and half for the prenatal and folic acid to kick in for me to get pregrant with my first son

It can take up to a year to get pregnant. Only after a year is when doctors visit can happen to see what’s going on. Best of luck in your TTC journey!

@kristenap maybe she meant prenatal vitamins .. I dunno. That's not really called medicine though. Lol
It's suggested to start taking them ahead of time ... I took them for years beforehand to ensure my body was equipped with the vitamins.

@renata.shumelda, I’m aware. I just decided to stop trying and wait till next year because I’m getting married in Mexico in 12 months. :)

@tlistboom, yes, I’ve been taking prenatal for about 6 months and I’ll continue taking them till throughout the year until I’m ready to try again. :)
