Why do women on here get so offended when someone gives advice on how to keep a child out of harms way... I’m sure plenty of parents think to themselves “that’ll never happen to me I’m carful” but truth is we can never be too careful take the advice it could save your child’s life.

I don’t understand it. Put your pride to the side for the sake of your children. 🤦🏼♀️

Some people get really bent out of shape when they get unwanted advice.
Having children is basically a constant stream of random advice, it doesn’t hurt. Especially for the benefit of your child.. annoying or not, at least someone cares right?

They not only get offended when you give them advice but apparently some also get offended when you warn them about creepy profiles too. 🤷🏻♀️ So it’s not just advice that they get offended about they get offended over EVERYTHING! You could post that you got a new kitten and they’d get offended that you didn’t get a puppy instead lol! 😂

I am more than happy to get accurate advice. If I feel something is off, I just brush it off, BUT will look it up to make sure I’m not the off one! Like if someone gives advice about not breastfeeding my toddler- I will ignore it like the plague, maybe even give a sarcastic reply, BUT also check online to reaffirm my beliefs. Now if someone tells me my car seat is wrong or child not fastened correctly, you bet you I will go straight to the manual and get it sorted, while thanking them!

@amysbabies, yes it seems that most people on here get extremely offended when given car seat or co sleeping with newborn advice... my best friend lost her Lo to co sleeping on accident & she did it with all her kids but no one should loose a kid to learn a lesson. It’s horrible that they can’t put pride to the side for safety reasons. I’ve been in way to many accidents to not properly buckle my kiddos in the car.

@alyboo102293, I know! And then they’ll say you’re bullying them if you try to defend yourself when they’re the ones calling you names!
