My husband is the one that makes the money but it’s our money. I consult with him before buying anything over $50 and we talk in depth about anything over $500 but like I don’t have to ask to go get lunch or buy myself something from the store

I don’t work he does, I spend when I want and let him know afterwards if it’s something expensive just so he’s aware.

When I was home with Salem, I never had to ask for anything. I didn’t WANT to ask for anything because I felt bad, but if he saw I needed something he would go and get it for me without me even asking. I feel terrible for women who stay home and aren’t allowed a dime.

However if I needed something, I would ask for money for it and he would give me the cash. If I wanted something, I talked it over with him on whether I wanted it enough to buy it right away or if it could wait.

Sometimes I do try to ask even though he tells me not to ask him and we both contribute our paychecks to our shared account but he’s more responsible and I just trust his judgement over mine so I will let him know if I’m about to spend $$$ on something & gauge his reaction

My hubby is the only one who works I tell him everything I buy but I don’t have to ask for money . He keeps telling me get what ever I want to treat my self. Lol I’ll rather save or get the baby what she needs

I only check with my husband for big purchases like a piece of furniture or super expansive shoes or something. And even then, it’s not “asking permission” as much as just respecting his opinion as well. But I think it’s really important to be on the same page about money, as that’s actually a common reason people get divorced

I keep my own money for emergency but he manages the rest. It's better this way got us a new car, home, and nursery for the baby in less than a year.

If it was me probably would have been another story.lol

Yup. I don't work anymore. I'm a SAHM. I can't just take money when I want or need something, I have to ask. I hate it. I wanna work so bad and have my own me money
