c section moms... im having my c section for my twin girls at 36 weeks so in 13 days and the babies have been doing great my whole pregnancy but i wanna feel more comfortable with how it all goes and what all to expect so i can communicate with my bf on how to help while in the hospital until i get released its hard to communicate with him so its getting a bit overwhelming
@erikanbethune2, well with my first dilating every hour then he broke my water so I can speed the labor ... & then i was @7cm & he induced me & my daughters heart beat was slowing down . So I had to go for an emergency c section because of that.. & if no complications with baby or yourself it’s a total of 3 days . . Staying there in the hospital .
My experience @erikanbethune2 At the beginning I was very calm and everyone just kept saying how calm I was. Each baby had their own team along with my own. Once they were all born they took all 3 to NICU. My husband waited with me until I got feeling back to my toes and then on the way to my room they took me to see the babies (this is when all my emotions hit) and I got to hold them for a bit. Honestly it was such a blur, I'm glad my husband was able to remember things and that we had a camera. They wrote down the times, weights and lengths which I'm also thankful for. I loved the teams and I felt so relaxed and confident, I had no doubts in whatever decisions they would have to make. Mama you're going to be doing ALL the work! Dad will get to hold your hand and just support you. I thought I would have to spell everything out for my husband but honestly he did great on his own!
I didnt get a csection so I only stayed one night and 2 days. The nurses should take good care of you. Bf may want to pay good attention to everything tho
@_mommyoftres okay thank you ive had a couple surgeries and my body heals quickly ive always had fast recoveries with incisions why did u have a c section
Have him watch some csection births and maybe find some good csection recovery blogs to know what to expect. Theres also a few videos like "first 24h with a newborn" and stuff.
You'll just have to be clear about what you need. You'll need help with diaper changes, bringing babies to you for nursing or feeding. You'll need him to bring you water, snacks, baby supplies cuz you may be in bed or chair a bit. You may need help showering.
Your hospital should be doing a lot for you while youre there though. My partner only needed to tend to baby if he wanted to.
Awww hun , I had c section with my two previous pregnancies. & well let me tell you , my husband has gone inside with me to the surgery, & his just there talking to me , making sure I’m okay . & well the recovery is kinda rough. Kinda painful . In a week or two you will feel a lot better , up & down but you still gotta take like 1-2 months easy .. some have a quicker recovery then others . Every ones bodies are different . Hmm I don’t know what else to say. If you want to ask any questions , you can let me know . & I’ll answer the experience I went threw.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
