If you have a colicky baby how did you find out? What do you do to calm them? I suspect my boy twin is colicky, the definition of colicky fits, he seems to have gas almost constantly, cries almost all day unless held most days, has to be held to fall asleep, needs 30 minutes of solid sleeping on you before he can be put down without startling awake, but he fusses for a good 20 minutes on you first before you can even start counting the 30. Night time gripe water and simethicone work slightly, but ultimately doesn't have enough of an impact to say for sure (still I choose to believe it helps somewhat). He fusses in his sleep, only seems to get decent rest every like 3rd or 4th time he is down to nap or for bedtime.... yet he will also have a rare day where he is fine, sleeps and eats like his twin sister who routinely sleeps and eats on a predictable 3 hr schedule without me really changing anything... I picked up some tips from articles today, but if any of you have experience I'm all ears! The twins are 4 weeks old on Friday.

In addition to the above, ask his doctor about introducing probiotics. They have made a huge difference for my almost 2 month old. You can get them pretty much anywhere.

I used little remidies gas drops, Dr browns bottles and they had to switch her formula to Similac alimentium. She was passing gas but it was hard for her to do it so this formula is so broken down she can pass it without a struggle. When I did all three things I had a brand new baby lol
