Ladies have you ever gave your baby baby orajel? She has hands feet and mouth virus and has blisters…

I don’t know if the ingredients have been reformulated, but from what I remember it is not safe.

It can numb the back of their throats making it unsafe. That's what my pediatrian told me.

Maybe try frozen breastmilk or formula? Or frozen/cool baby food? I know that helped my daughter when she had it but she was a little older so we went with yogurt too. It also helped with the fever too

@taylorsmommy1017, thanks it’s been a while 😅 I’m feeling under the weather myself so all I could think of was cold things that helped 🤦🏻‍♀️ we were obviously passed that stage when my daughter got it.

I have given her frozen yogurt ahe loved it and it did help... i have ice cream pops as well its just hard having her cry all the time

We have used the baby orajel non medicated cooling gel and had no problem. There is an all natural teething gel from Nuby that I use for my son when he's teething too. I even used it when I bit my tongue and it legit worked for a while. You can find it at target. I am not a doctor so definitely do what you think is best, but this works for us.

If you are already comfortable with using the orajel when she is teething, I would totally agree with you using it for her blisters so she can eat properly. I'm so sorry she is in so much pain! I hope that gives her some relief so she can eat and start healing 💛💛💛

@madilyngrace, it lasted about a week but don’t freak out if anywhere from a month later she starts peeling on the bottom of her feet. It’s apparently normalish it doesn’t happen to everyone but it can happen and i has no clue and it freaked me out.
