My daughter was 7 months old when I found out I was pregnant. My family was very happy for us. It was my friends and work colleagues that were negative. I told them that they needed to keep their negative comments to themselves. I also told them that it's my body, my uterus, and until they are financially supporting me they can just shut up. I surrounded myself with people who were happy for me and supported me. Because it is overwhelming if you don't have a good support system behind you. Just surround yourself with people who support you and who are uplifting. Don't let the negative comments from others bring you down.

Just show yourself you can do it. Look for a good support group even if it’s just online.

I got pregnant when my daughter was 3 months. I felt the same way. I just kept in mind that it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks because this is YOUR baby and if you’re excited/happy then you can’t let them take that away. You’re only going to be pregnant with this baby once. In 9 months you’ll have to share the baby with the world so just enjoy the time that it’s just the two of you. If other people don’t like it then they can get over it. It’s not up to then when you have your next baby.

My family was very critical and rude about it. I felt alone. They kept telling me how hard it was gonna be having them that close together but let me tell you my oldest loves her little brother more than I’ve ever seen siblings love each other. She’s only a year old but she wants to feed him and hold him and kiss him. I’m happy I had them this close together. To me, it’s no more difficult than having just one. You just have to get a routine down.

You’ve got this momma! It’s your baby so ignore all of the negativity. Enjoy the pregnancy while it lasts!
