If he's a month old, have you had issues with him eating? By a month you should know already if it's causing an issue with that. My little one has a tongue tie too and he feeds fine but I plan to have it clipped at some point soon because it can also cause speech problems and his speech will be delayed. The nurse at the hospital told me he had this like 2 days after he was born.
It’s the first thing the nurse said when my daughter was born. Looks like they should have here too. The oral surgeon within our hospital took care of it. I would make an appointment.
That’s not my daughter was but she has Angelman syndrome too it’s on a G-tube now because of Angelman syndrome but they will be clipping your son tongue then he’ll be able to latch on mama
Really holly cow at my sons 3 day old check up and 1 months check up his dr checked for tongue tie and his throat and everything and looks At the gums just to make sure everything looks okay
Yes that’s tongue tied. Honestly I’m surprised your babies dr has yet to see it when doing his exams. It needs to be clipped. My son also was tongue tied and had it clipped

Yes. My daughter had one. We got it clipped right away so she would have no trouble latching.
