Question, I’m moving my son in to his room ( right next door to mine) and it also shares a wall with the bathroom. I’m thinking of getting him a sound machine because I’m scared our bathroom use will wake him or my husband who comes home late after work. Plus he sleeps with the door open since I don’t have a baby monitor. Do you mamas think a noise machine is a good idea? To block out some other outside noises (like bathroom use, opening and closing of other doors, and so on) ? Or if you have any other suggestions please let me know.
@domsmama96 means my post only are seen by my followers.. That's what mom life said. idk lol never heard of it.
@domsmama96 apparently I'm on a soft ban from momlife but idk why.. They won't tell me and I haven't even been on much
@redcarr, that’s weird ! I’ve never had that happen. Poor internet connection???
@thegermanmommy, I’ve heard great things of this one. thanks for the recommendation mama
@arcsmomma, my son is used to some noise but not too much of it . We don’t have a tv in our room and my husband comes home late at night so our nights were usually pretty quiet !
This is random but I can't reply to my post you commented on. When I click it, it says post not found even though it was never deleted🤔
My daughter is used to noise I guess cause stuff usually won't wake her up. She was in our room til just after she turned 1 so she's used to us moving around/talking or hearing the tv and her father being loud while he plays video games at night. She falls asleep to a movie anyways 🤷🏻♀️ I do have a monitor on all night just to be safe but our rooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom so we can hear her fine with sharing a wall. In her room you can hear our tv a bit and doors and whatnot closing. My grandma is loud in the morning and wakes up at like 2am and the house echoes a lot but she doesn't wake up from much.
To this day, my son sleeps better when he has white noise going on in the background. Weather it’s a fan or dehumidifier. If nothing is on, he’ll wake up more periodically through the night. When he was a baby, I had baby lullabies going on throughout the entire night lol
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
I can’t stand when people make a whole post then delete it as soon as they get a little heat from people 😂🤣 ANYWAYS to the person who made the post about not washing your vagina .. here’s my response to your comments! I know you’ll be reading this 😏
