I think that looks great! We had to do all that growing up w/o allowance, plus putting laundry away, cleaning up our rooms, washing the dogs, etc.

I was just asking because depending on what you do...you could also have them do other stuff! Like making their beds, taking garbage out...

Because momma needs all the help!

@yamip91, this is just sweep/mopping, wiping down kitchen surfaces and putting clean dishes away as far as I can see. Way more to household cleaning than that.

@veritas1 I teach my son's by 4th grade how to wash their clothes and they are taught early on also how to clean their rooms .I sweep and mop daily we have white tile and a toddler...and my oldest cleans their hallway bathroom...(Wi-Fi=control hahaha with kid's these days

Mine don't get an allowance. They have phones.

Put there name for what chore they're responsible for. At my house we draw chores, and they're responsible for that chore the entire week.

Seems fair to me.

I had to do those things and never got an allowance 😅
