Pitbulls are amazing big babies. They just get a bad reputation! Every pit I've known has been such big love bugs. I love them!

@taylorc thats what we have as well and she loves my son so much

@swedishmomma ive met mean ones but thats because they were always caged. My pit has never showed even the slightest agression towards my son. At worst she gets annoyed and huffs and puffs

@ashtonndamon yes they are just like any other breed it all depends on how they are taken care of. But they are honestly the best breed in my opinion

They used to be called nanny dogs before they got their bad reputation actually. :/ It is sad how people treat them. We have a staffy and she is nothing but gentle with my son even though I never leave them unattended.

I was attacked by a family dog while doing this exact thing for the like 100th time. It was all sweet & I love pits as a breed but any dog any breed can snap at anytime , I was lucky the dog was to small to rip my skin from my skull but I still ended up hospitalized. Not being rude just sharing a experience my mother used to let me play around our dogs while they ate & they were always so sweet licked me didn’t care at all never had food aggression but one day something changed. 😩

@ashtonndamon, it’s okay it can happen to anyone. I don’t blame the dog still loved him to death.

My pit can be running and acting crazy then sees Lilly and slides to a stop and begs to be pet and hugged. It’s so sweet. She loves her pup!
