I was thinking if you have the money and didn’t want to plan you have more options. I was considering a birthday party at a local gym so the kids can run around and play and not run up my house and little prep work on your part especially with a newborn that’s sometimes tempting. 😉

My daughters 2nd birthday was the last super chill one. At 3 she was super excited about the whole ordeal and she’s a very social child so having a party with her friends seemed like the right thing. I’d definitely take advantage of making things simple while you can, but I think it is really dependent on the child!

With a new born probably throw a small family part at the house . Than take her to do something she’d really enjoy by herself and find a sitter for the babe for a few hours
