@mrsmerique, they allow it but some hospitals require an affidavit of truth.
PLUS I don’t think most hospitals allow lotus births. But they definitely do delayed cord clamping and it’s actually recommended!
@mrsmerique, I’ve heard that and I’ve also heard the benefits of it as well. I’m a very natural person and I want to take my delivery in the same route. So I’ll keep researching and meditating. Thank you for the advice 🖤

No and here is my reason why: there is no scientific evidence that a lotus birth is beneficial to a newborn, in fact it leaves the newborn more susceptible to bacteria. If not taken care of properly the placenta can get bacteria and rot and possibly hurt the baby. There is no evidence that shows any beneficial nutrients or anything being delivered to the baby after 10 mins of the cord still being attached. You could do delayed cord clamping tho and they’ll leave the cord attached for an extra 5-10 mins
