My lil guy has lost a little more weight than his pediatrician would like, so she wants us to supplement a bit 😖 I was pretty upset but I am happy to say we have used formula, different bottles, and he has used pacifiers already and still he prefers to be on my breast 😁 I have also started pumping because it hurts and I plan on going back to work fairly early, so the more milk I can save the better!!! My first used a pacifier straight up, just wanted the dang thing. Breast feeding did not work for us!! Now it's working so well 💗💗💗 I do have hopes we can get his weight up..

My son was the same way, he lost to much weight and we had to supplement for two weeks. He was definitely a lot happier once we started supplementing. It just took awhile for my milk to come in.

@tasticmel Mine has come in now and so I am really hoping we get that weight up and can keep going strong from here.

@jack.ass He lost 10% exactly when we went in yesterday for his 4 day check up. He had only lost 6% which was okay and then had got up to 10% overnight once we left the hospital.

@babymay2016, 10% is still ok. My personal opinion would be to just bf bf bf, you can top him up with some expressed milk if you feel more comfortable, but trust your body.
