Ladies with girls , when did you pierce your daughters ears ?

I will be doing it whenever she asks

But if you choose to do so either way don’t take her to a place with a gun only get them pierced by needle

For my first, when she turned 5 months. For my 2nd, when she was like 10 months or 11 months.

@mommyofthree2711, yes, piercing guns cannot be cleaned properly and are higher risk of infections and uneven piercings and also hurt more.

@mommyofthree2711, the dirty gun pierces with a blunt earring, causing tissue trauma. A sharp hollow needle goes in smoothly and is actually sanitary.

I’ll be waiting until my daughter is old enough to ask. Mine were pierced before I was even a month old and I didn’t care to do that to my child.

@flamingomom, mine were pierced young too with a gun and they’re uneven and super sensitive even with sensitive jewelry:(

@caylintay, aww that’s unfortunate. mine were probably done by a family member at home 🙄 since it’s the Mexican thing to do. I stretched out my earlobes around 13 years old so I never really paid attention to how straight they were lol

You can also ask your pediatrician. My babies pediatrian actually did my first daughters in her office, I felt much much safer having it done there.

My daughter’s aren’t done yet but I’ll do them when she’s old enough to ask... which will probably be soon because she’s on obsessed with my earrings 😂

My daughter is almost 4 and we haven’t pierced them yet. She’s asked about it but we’re waiting because I know for sure she’d want to take them out and play with them and then put them back in, and repeat all day long 😆 So we’re waiting until she’s old enough to understand the concept and not take them out.
