Formula! Ugh, he started out on similac pro advance, and he did really good. No fussing, no issues, a calm happy baby. Unfortunately with me out of work we had to apply for wic and they switched him to gerber gentle. It didn’t work for him, it started out with uncontrollable crying back arching, gagging, he burps well and gas drops weren’t helping. So the doctor put him on alimentum, well he was spitting that up horribly so bad it was coming out of his nose. Now I went and bought similac pro sensitive, and it seems to be doing okay but wic won’t support it. And they won’t even change his formula until the doctor writes something because they had to write a prescription for the alimentum, and he doesn’t see his doctor until Wednesday. I’m so stressed, I just want my baby back happy.
That how my wic works. Mine supports similac but if i needed something different the would have to be by a dr. Similac is good with my baby girl. One time it was emfamil.
Your dr can send a prescription before your appointment
My wic office wouldnt give me sensitive even with the doctors perscription because it wasnt on the list they gave me. Which is why i didnt even bother fighting and switched to the parents choice and my dd did great on it and we never had any issues
This is exactly what happened with my now 1 year old. Walmart has parents choice sensitive formula Which is the same as similac sensitive. I dropped wic all together and used parents choice. A 2lb container is only $20 and if you order in bulk online you can get a 4 pack of the 2lb containers for 70.
I would contact the doctor like @scidg3, mentioned also this happened with my daughter we switched to nutramigen, it turns out she has a milk allergy and reflux as well. Goodluck to you and your baby hope he feels better soon!
I’m using enfamil gentle ease. My babygirl had so much trouble for her first two months of life projectile vomiting all day this is the only thing that’s helped
Call your doctor and tell them it's not working and you need a RX for the one that does.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
Preggies,
Today, we are deeply saddened by the news that @Martinajjones' baby, Jason Andrew Colley, was born early and passed away. He was born today, on his father's birthday, at 34 weeks, weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces and 17 inches long. @Martinajjones has been a strong member of this community since January. We are so sad for her loss, and her family's, and our thoughts go out to her.
You can message the family on this post, if you would like to add your condolences.
Best wishes,
Preggie_USA
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
My baby couldn't handle Gerber Gentle but she did better with Gerber Smooth. We were on WIC
