Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?

I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.

Checked in at 4am february 1st.. started my pitocin drip at 5. I was 3cm dilated when i checked in. Things were progressing pretty slowly until my doctor broke my water at 7 am.
