Do doctors typically talk to you about your birth plan or am I supposed to bring it up?

Mine talked about it with me but that might be because I was having csection. But I had to bring up that I wanted my mom and husband in the room.

I've tried a birth plan last 4 times..never goes the way I planned

@blessed2018w9, I’m with her. You can certainly have a birth plan, and definitely feel free to talk to your dr about it, but also keep in mind the safety of you and baby.

I’ve had 3 babies and my dr has never asked me about a birth plan. I have also never made one more because I just want to go with the flow and decide what I want in the moment and not feel disappointed if I don’t stick to a certain plan or feel pressured to stick to it.

My doctor never talked to me. The nurse asked me when I was getting induced what I wanted.

My doctor asked me what I wanted I told her as natural as possible, well that went out the the window when I was 2 weeks late giving birth and had to be induced oh and I also got a epidural lol
