@bhtslove, I’d definitely see a dermo
Do you have a recipe for a good bm lotion?!? I have quite a bit in the see freezer over a year old
@jack.ass I just ended up going to our express care a couple months ago, they gave me a steroid cream. But idk. I might go to my primary first and see what she says or see if she thinks I should see a dermatologist. I'm going to make breastmilk lotion though later, for my poor babes butt. So I'm going to try some on my hand too lol.
@iam_ashleylynn, poison ivy isn’t contagious- you can only get it if you’ve come in contact with the oil.
@bhtslove, 9 months likely isn’t poison ivy then. Are you seeing a dermatologist or just a PCP?
@bhtslove, hope it heals soon! I know how much it sucks😞
@j.andtaysmama I think that initially my ring is what caused it, mix of metal with always washing my hands, But it still hasn't gone away 9 plus months later! And the doctor gave me stuff I think might have been that? Lol. I don't remember 100% though.
@bhtslove, oh ok. I was going to give you another possible diagnosis! This had happened to me for years.. come to find out after I had my first, my skin was reacting to the different metals from my rings and causing this same looking rash/itch/pain
@j.andtaysmama Used to, took them off a very long time ago though.
@iam_ashleylynn I've had it for 9 plus months so I don't think it's contagious, I'm nursing too, so I only got a cream as well!
@jack.ass Yeah idk. I'll try those! It's been there for over 9 months.
@jack.ass, mine get the little tiny bubbles too. The doctors never got to see them cause my hands always scabbed over. Isn’t poison ivy contagious? I’ve had this a while now but no one in my household has this. Thank god for that cause it’s very painful.
This bubbles look like poison ivy to me rather than eczema. Try some ivarest cream. My go to is witch hazel, arnica salve and calendula cream. Alternating during the day.
Omg, I thought I was the only one. Same exact thing on my hand. Doctor told me it was dehydrated eczema. It got real bad a couple months ago and because I’m still nursing they couldn’t give me some type of pills. They could only give me cream (which doesn’t help) until I’m done nursing. I try so hard not to itch it but it just feels so good to itch but then hurts soooo bad afterwards...smh.
@bhtslove yep same here at night I catch myself scratching yes same my skin is tight too that's crazy try petroleum jelly or over counter lotion for eczema
I’ve had what looks like that for months. I started using my kids aveeno baby eczema lotion twice a day and it’s almost unnoticeable now. Hope you can find something that works for you.
@k.i.k.i Yeah. I itch it all the time. Usually at night when I'm in bed, the skins so tight I can barely close my hand right. 🤷♀️
@bhtslove lmao tell me about it I've never in my life had eczema it sucks
I put a lot of petroleum jelly at night it really helps but then it gets so itchy I start scratching I really need to stop scratching so it can get better
@k.i.k.i Grrr. I was hoping the doctor was wrong. 😂
Both of my hands look just like that the doctor of my son told me it's eczema
@jack.ass No, idk what it is. The doctor I first went to said eczema, but idk if I believe them haha.
And I'm sorry! That sucks. :( 🙏🏼
Poison ivy? I’m just now recovering from 4 weeks of battling poison oak and I still have spots that aren’t healed 😭
@jack.ass I had just been looking them up on pinterest. 🤷♀️ They all kinda seem the same but idk which to make haha.
