Hi guys I was induced with my first baby. Nothing happened for 7 days and in the end I ended up with a emergency c section. It was all quite distressing for me and I’m thinking of going for elective c section for next baby. My consultant said to try for a vaginal birth as every pregnancy is different. What do you guys think ? Xxx

With my first I was induced at 37 weeks as she was small... My labour was horrendous and it ended up in a emergency c section aswell!!!
But I've just had my little boy and my labour was so much better this time round ad I wasn't induced And he arrived naturally!! Which was the best feeling in the world.
It all depends on how anxious you feel about it all. They give you lots of advice if you want a natural birth and are very helpful hun x

@kayleighbean1, I get anxious so quickly Hun so I really don’t know how the next pregnancy will be.

@gemini95 I get anxious easily to and was very worried about everything because of how bad it was last time. But try to not over think it and go with the flow. It's very very different second time around hun! It's just the way pregnancy is. Try and take some time out and try some nice relaxing techniques even going for a walk helps clear the mind 😊xx
