Need some advice please.

My LO just made 5 months & I have pumped & breastfed. I have had to give him some enfamil enspire. So he is like 80%ish breastmilk & 20%ish formula.

I have noticed the last 2 days my milk supply has dropped so when I PUMP. I normally pump anywhere from 6-8 oz first thing in the morning. The last 2 mornings I’ve only pumped 4oz. I’m not about to get my period because I start one the 13th or 14th of each month & I notice my milk looks more “watery” when I’m about to start.

I just don’t know what to do! I’m not ready to stop! (Sorry if that sounds selfish. He’s my 3rd boy but first to be able to breastfeed)

When he nurses at nigh he sleeps all night 9pm-4am & he seems full mots of the time during the day.

Try drinking more water! Or even Gatorade or those body armor drinks.

I think this is around when my supply dropped as well. You have to be VERY diligent about continuing to pump every time you would normally feed baby. So when baby gets formula, still pump.

I also started taking breastmilk suppliments and of course stay very hydrated. But ultimately I dried up.

When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.

amysbabies 12 months. Focus on purees, you can steam veggies and mash them yourself. Or mash up some
makethatfour I also was told to start peanut butter at 6 months for exact what @tacos4lyfe stated.
jazzyjazz I gave my kids a little peanut butter at around 8 months...and transitioned them to cows milk
