Finding out my baby’s gender turned into bed rest, surgery, & being uncomfortable/miserable... I just want to be happy 😔
@marielovely, I agree and I am happy they did as well... just hard to look past the being uncomfortable and hurting when doing things that used to be so simple 🤦🏽♀️ and no they’re actually gonna take the material out at 35 weeks when they’ll be comfortable for me go into labor any day
Oh nvm I read that they take it out once you’re near the end of pregnancy
Praying for you girl! Bed rest is so hard 😭 I was only on it for a month and I was losing it!
@cutiepatootie, oh noo that’s not good!! 😪 good thing they found out earlier rather than u ending up in labor early ! Does that mean u have to get a csection since they sewed up your cervix? Or how does that work
@marielovely, during the ultrasound the tech discovered that my cervix was shorter than normal so they immediately sent me over to see high risk at the hospital... after an exam they discovered that my cervix was also softening and slightly opened. So to prevent preterm labor they had to create more support for my cervix by basically sewing it up that it doesn’t open or shorten any more than it had... so now I’m considered high risk and on bed rest 🤦🏽♀️😔
@kendrab, Thank you so much and imagine being in bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy starting at 20 weeks 🤦🏽♀️ I still move around but my body definitely tells me when I’ve done too much 😔
