All baby does is grunt and strain after eating. Any advice? He is breastfed. I can burp him forever and sometimes he does burp and sometimes he doesn’t. But even when I’m trying to burp him he makes these noises. And it’s getting exhausting especially at night because a lot of the time he will continue to do it in his sleep. Sleeping in his bassinet doesn’t help. So I tried the rock n play. And even being elevated hasn’t really helped either.

i feel like this is something all babies do and is totally normal. My baby always acted constipated and like it hurt him to poop but he pooped regularly and it was always normal. I think it’s just them getting used to their bodily functions. When he was breastfed he pooped after every time he ate

Also I used to hold my son facing outward and sit him on my lap and gently press on his belly while lightly bouncing him and it almost always made him burp
