I dont really know what it feels like either it feels like period cramps but then I just have to poop. Then ill get random side pains Idk if thats just him pushing

@brittany88, just really chug the water if your not already, and sit down. Even if I do this for 20 minutes they go away, and I feel better already.

I called my ob for having contractions, and I was told since they aren’t intense, and not measurable to drink plenty of fluids, and just try to take it easy. If they started becoming intense or measurable I am supposed to come in. So far when I have them, they only last for a little bit, and go away when I rest with water.

Contractions can feel like it's ripping your soul out of your body sorry to be so graphic but that's how it felt to me when I had my son and I couldn't catch my breath in between not trying to scare you but it's not pretty

@brittany88 mine woke me up out my sleep 3 times the 3rd I called the office... Call your ob and get checked out just to make sure .. because honestly if you're feeling all that you never know .. I never would have guessed i dilated and that was the real deal .. they gave me two shots to mature her lungs in case she comes early and if that is the case they can try to stop it and give you the shots too if they need to but definitely call them

I would suggest calling and letting them decide just to be on the safe side. Last time I was in l&d and having measurable contractions I could not feel them at all but I had lost a huge piece of mucus plug and had stomach cramps and diarrhea. This heat and humidity is also giving me contractions for the last few days.

@jordanrwilliams25, well this morning from like 3am-7am i jus knew i was dead then i pooped drank cold water n fell asleep then i got up i have no appetite and still more cramping i keep drinking water but every time i pee i poop n the cramps jus don’t stop

They last over 4 hrs total including me at labor and delivery.. and we're very frequent

COULD be mild contractions or mostly Braxton hicks... When I was contracting and dilating a week ago I felt pressure down there, the urge to push her out, couldn't breathe,sick, tightening down there and low stomach and pooped at the same damn time I was so scared to get off the toilet and couldn't walk straight up I had to stay crouched over because of the urge to just push her out .. the nurses line kept telling me to breath Because I wasn't .. only breaths I took was to yell because It hurt so bad

@jessig2006, yeah my stomach gets hard i just thought it was his butt but I’m tryin to eat a piece of fruit n it jus comes n it hurts so bad that i sit my plum down n my phone until it passes

That sounds alot like contractions to me. Are they coming in waves and your stomach getting rock hard and relaxing in between? If you have a contraction timer on your phone I would time and call your doctor to see if they want to check you out. A lot of people say they feel like period cramps or worse. Some peoples start in the back and move forward and down right through the lady bits. But especially with going poop every time that's what always happens to me. I clear out totally.
