I honestly look up to you moms with two, three, four kids. I love my son but motherhood is so hard. All I do in my free time is laundry, cooking and cleaning and my only "me time" is a 10 minute shower in the evening. These days have been so rough. Got barely any sleep. And my husband is so supportive and present with our child. I do feel blessed and grateful, but motherhood is the toughest job ever. And I've worked 12 hours straight at an office and it was nothing like this. I wonder if it will be like everyone says that I will forget and I'll have another child in the future. I do worry because I'd like Alexander to have a sibling, but honestly, how is that possible!? I want time for my son, for my husband and for myself. I feel that when you have several kids, that is almost impossible. How do you moms manage? You're truly the best. Have a good night. 💗

I don't know how, I'm still trying to figure it out. For now I barely leave the house anymore, I have to rush to do everything and I can't do things is I love anymore

It does definitely get easier as they get older. My youngest wouldn’t let me put him down for the first year and I couldn’t even sit down holding him. He wanted to be up and moving or he’d scream. It was a rough year for sure. It’s slowly but surely gotten easier and now he’s started playing more by himself and not needing me quite as much. My girls have been so independent for so long it was a huge change for me. I’m finally starting to pick up some of my hobbies again and life is definitely looking better. And like Honey said, routine and early bedtimes are key!

I have a two year old, a nine month old and I'm due with baby #3 in December. There are some days where I feel like all I do is clean, some days where I feel like my kids are trying to push me into a mental break down, and some days where everything goes so perfectly and smoothly. It is hard yes but even in the bad days I love is so much cause I know I won't have these moments forever.

@hbowen2018 Wow!! You're a wonderwoman and you're right! I should try to enjoy this stage as much as I can. Only, it is so hard when you're tired!

@blueismycolor your youngest sounds a lot like my child, lol We've already figured out his outine and early bedtime, but now he is waking up frequently, I feel like we are back in square one. 😫

@sarahbethk thanks for the advice! I strongly feel against having another child. I'm taking all precautions, but part of me hopes I can give my son a sibling some day. 🙏

@argiemom29, oh girl. That’s the dreaded four month sleep regression. Just stick closely to your routine and you’ll get through it. With night wakening, as long as he’s not full out crying, give him a few minutes and see if he’ll go back to sleep before you go to him. The baby stage is so hard and seems never ending, but it’s over before you know it.
