Time to get a guard dog. Someone tried to break into to my house yet again. I moved out of the bad area to what I thought was better. But no. Cops are running the videos to catch who it was.
@oktoberwitch, it really does suck. I’ve lived in a not so awesome area for almost 4 years and not once did anything ever happen. But I move into a more quiet, secluded area and my house gets broken into twice!
@oktoberwitch, I have not. I’ve seen them. But the person is breaking in is also using my windows. I will have to check on those door bell things though
@jordanrwilliams25, luckily my 3 year old slept through it. But what happens if next time she doesn’t or they get in. I’m terrified. In 10 weeks, I’m going to have two girls I need to protect. This can’t keep happening and I’m putting a stop to this
@amysbabies, Yepp. That came with my security system
@gummybear728 I know the feeling .. so scary especially with a child or children to protect and my first isn't even here yet and I'm paranoid about this
@amysbabies, oh no no lol my “guard” dog would be my family. I would most likely get a breed that can protect me and my family though. But is also a family dog. I had a pit before someone poisoned her. And I’m thinking of getting a Shepard or a pit again. Both protect their families. And both are great family dogs.
@gummybear728, they also have the sensor spot lights you can get- that flash bright when someone enters the area.
@jordanrwilliams25, so far, I have a home security sign outside. Two actually. Then I’m going to get a Beware of Dog and/or This House is protected by a guard dog. I will do the light and curtains thing you said. I personally need to wait out this pregnancy for a dog. But as soon as I’m fit to, I will be getting one. I’ve had enough of this.
@gummybear728, oh that’s better! I always associate guard dogs with being left out and neglected. That’s a different story if you’re looking for a pet, that happens to serve that duty :).
How scary .. my husband and I were just talking about stuff like this for when we move because I have a protection order on someone who pops up at night (a relative)..I hope they find them .. also leave your curtains closed at night and a lamp on like you're awake and get a no trespassing sign (not that it would stop them) and yes get a dog sign even if you don't have one at the moment
@amysbabies, I mean I was fostering a lab for a while. And every time she heard someone knocking on the door or walking up the steps, she would bark and let me know someone was at my door or right outside. She wasn’t a guard dog, but she looked out for me and my daughter. And she was loud and her bark made her sound mean but she was far from that. Now, I don’t have her and it’s a bit scary.
@gummybear728, oh okay! :). Sometimes a “beware of dog” sign can be just as effective. I hate the idea of a “guard dog”, but that’s probably more of a me thing. I’m sorry you have to deal with this!!!!
Maybe cameras would be a better idea? Just s suggestion. :)
@mhbb3, I’m thinking about it. I’ll get both.
@oktoberwitch, this is the second time too! That’s why I got the security system. I’m glad I didn’t go open my door last night when I heard it.

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
@oktoberwitch, oh wow. That’s crazy. People are ridiculous nowadays. It’s sad.
