I feel terrible. I love my baby boy and I was excited to be able to breast feed him. My supply is good and his latch is perfect. He gets plenty to eat and I really have noticed it’s help me lose weight quicker. That being said - I HATE breast feeding. I can’t stand my life revolving around when I’m going to feed him and if I’m not going to feed him when to pump, etc. it’s to the point it’s getting a little depressing. He eats every 2-3 hours and each feeding lasts about an hour so as soon as he’s done it’s basically time to feed again. Anyone else have this problem?

My baby is currently two months and I’m still breast feeding. I definitely felt the same way the first week or two. It gets better. Try to hang in there but if you feel in your heart you can no longer do it, stop. As your baby gets older in between feedings will get longer! I love breastfeeding now. That bond is amazing.

Mine ate every 2 to 2.5 hours until he was over 8 months old. Any time he was stressed, had a rough day or a change in routine, he’d nurse for at least an hour and that lasted until he was nearly 2. It’s really freaking hard and isolating to have your entire day revolve around breastfeeding and pumping. I don’t have any great words of advice, but just remember to breathe and take things one day at a time. And if breastfeeding is making you crazy, don’t feel bad for stopping. You need to be healthy in order to be the best mom you can be. Hang in there, you’re doing a great job no matter what!

I’m still breastfeeding at 18 months old. I felt that way for a long time but I persevered because I knew of the benefits it gave me and my daughter. It gets a lot easier but sometimes I still feel tied down. I hope that doesn’t sound awful because I’d do anything for my kids. I’m trying to wean her now because I want my boobs back but I know she’s growing up so fast and I’ll miss it all too soon, especially that bond. Cluster feeding is the hardest part. My daughter doesn’t take a pacifier tho and she uses me for that. So it’s more often than should be. But you’ll know in your heart when you need to wean. You’ll also start to find ways to work around it like a pro. 😊

Don’t make anyone feel like you HAVE to breastfeed though. A fed baby is best so just make sure you do what you feel is best for you.

When he was little i used a wrap. Once he got about 13lb i switched to carrier. The woven slings are also nice

He may be cluster feeding he's telling your body to produce more milk because he might be going through growth spurt, feeding on demand can be hard some can some can't it's okay if you can't ,,, as long as your baby is fed

Yes. Its rough the first 8 weeks. BUT! babywearing can be a big help. You won't feel as trapped. If i needed to go out with mine I'd also just plan my trips and pick places i wanted to nurse on my trip. Just for ease.

It’s cluster feeding. He’s growing. It gets easier around 7/8 months.
