do they do Doppler ultrasound that checks babies blood flow at your regular obgyn or only at specialists? and can they tell you how much your babies weigh or that's only at a specialist to?
I've been getting a doppler ultrasound 2 times a week to check the blood flow. My cord dopplers are high and fluid is low so we are watching it super close. My regular ob does it
@erikanbethune2 nope. That's only what is checked on my 20 and 36 week ultrasounds.
If you have regularly been having yours checked by a specialist would you not just continue going to them?
My OB uses a Doppler every appt. to check heart rate and she measures my belly which she can tell me if he is measuring on track and whay his position is but not weight. Ultrasounds occur for me through the office as well but only 8 weeks establishment, 20 weeks anatomy scan, and 36 weeks for growth.
Also ultrasound weight estimates are just estimates, they can be off by +1lb or -1lb.
