My son is 6 months old and doesn’t sleep through the night. He gets up two to three times a night to nurse and go back to sleep. I was told when he started eating cereal he would sleep better but that hasn’t happened. I don’t know if maybe I should try to limit his naps during the day and maybe he will be more tired?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My baby is 2 today!! I literally cried myself to sleep last night snuggling with him. (yeah, I let him sleep in my bed last night bc I he wanted to & I wanted him to) lol Why are birthdays so hard for meeee?! 😭😭😭
What can I do to sleep comfortably at night?
Okay so I am 4 months pregnant with my first child . My babys father & i live in a one bedroom apartment & he does have a 4 year old son with someone else , he comes over 3 days out of the week . Today is his first time sleeping over & my boyfriend wants him to sleep in the bed with us tonight .. Which I find a little weird, He Got upset cause i didnt feel comfortable about it & asked if maybe they could sleep in living room instead... Am i selfish for this ?
How do I get my newborn to sleep in his bed he wants to sleep on me all night and I am afraid to let him I did it last night and finally for a little sleep but every time I place him down he cries until I pick him up!!!

Some kids don’t sleep thru the night for a long time especially if they are breastfed :(

My boy is about to be 19 months and he still doesn’t sleep through the night. Sorry that isn’t what u want to hear. He eats breakfast, lunch, dinner plus snacks with 1-2 naps during the day. And he nurses alllll the time. Hoping we get some sleep soon, hang in there.

@iam_ashleylynn, well I guess it’s comforting knowing it’s normal! The only examples I have to go on were my nephews who slept through the night at 3 months. But, my sister fed them formula so I guess that’s why. I had high hopes because he’s been sleeping like this since maybe a month old. Only waking a few times to nurse and going right back down so I though maybe it would be a lot better by now.

My daughter still doesn't and ake eats like a trucker

@newlyironman, he has a handful of times. When we have a big day and he misses a nap, or has to be woken up early from a nap.

@meganph, I think formula vs breast makes a difference. My son is formula fed and he’s been sleeping through the night since he was 3 months old. If you pump, you can start giving your baby a dream feed with a bottle instead of breast to see if that starts slowing down his night feeds. At 6 months old they don’t really need a night feed but baby must already be used to it. Your pediatrician would know best though.

My oldest Didn’t sleep through the night till he was 13-14 months and it’s when I took the bottle away from him and my 7 month old still gets up 3-4 times a night to eat and he takes two naps a day usually only 40 minutes long if I’m lucky and he is formula fed he eats breakfast and dinner I took out his lunch because he wouldn’t take a second nap and he slept even worse at night time from being over tired
Some kids just unfortunately don’t sleep through the night till there older I tried the whole oatmeal before bed and it didn’t help at all I hope we all get some sleep soon though!!

@meganph it's a developmental thing, like walking or talking. Some babies just their time. This too shall pass

@k.i.k.i, oh no 😩 recently he went through a phase for a week or so where he was up every hour I was like what is going on! This is worse than the newborn stage!!

@meganph have you heard of sleep regression ? You should really look it up it has good info I see that your baby is 6m there's a sleep regression around that time

@k.i.k.i, yea that’s what I was thinking was going on before when he started getting up every hour or so for that week. Now he is back to his regular sleeping most of the night but waking two or three times to nurse.
