Totally normal! I was on the shot for 9 years. I absolutely loved it. It can take a few months for your body to adjust to it. I did the same thing but after 3 months I completely stopped having a period and discharge all together!

@jamisontalia7, ah, I’m sorry. I would highly consider another form of birth control, but again, talk to your doctor first lol

@jamisontalia7, I’ve heard the shot really messes some people’s cycles up. I personally don’t have any experience but know a lot of people who did and weren’t happy. But def call your doctor and see what they say! Hope you feel better!

Call your OB. The shot reacts differently to a lot of women. But from what I know, yes, that sounds normal.
