So I had my last blood work today and they said it dropped "slightly" from yesterday's. So I guess I'm going to take it…

@mamix5, I just saw your post about it rising now it’s dropped?! What were the levels? What was yesterday’s number and today’s?

@beakymcspence So last Friday they were 256, Monday they were 591, yesterday they were 824, and today they were 788. I had some brown discharge earlier today while wiping but that tapered off now. And I was trying to ask questions but the nurse was so shitty and vague so I called the ER I went to Friday to maybe get some clarification on things and they said the only way they can clarify things is if I come back because they don't give results over the phone... Smh

@mamix5, it’s only dropped about 40, but generally any drop means that there’s a pending demise. Although on rare occasions dehydration can fluctuate a level but I’ve personally never seen that.

@mamix5, What did doctor say and when is your next draw.

@beakymcspence that's my problem they said they aren't going to do anymore draws to just continue taking hpt and if still positive in 4 weeks they will do an ultrasound. I'm getting no answers whatsoever.

@mamix5, Well they should definitely remain doing draws to ensure the levels remain dropping or rise again..I’d call another doctor

Any doctor would realistically continue to watch it rise or fall. Not tell you to come back in 4 weeks if your HPT is still positive..

@beakymcspence his nurse is a bitch when she said it to me, I said are you serious? And she said is there a problem? I said um yesss. She said well that's what the Dr told me to tell you. Then I just got irritated and she said she would talk to him again and call me back. Well her ass never called.

@mamix5, Nurses do not have authorization to give results to my knowledge, at least not here in Canada (Unless it’s a practitioner) That’s absolutely inappropriate I would call and specifically request the doctor send you for more blood draws as to determine whether the levels continue to fall. If it’s a pending miscarriage you may require treatment.

I’m sorry your going through this and that they are handling it this way.

@beakymcspence I never have spoke to my Dr over the phone only his nurse. Even with my last pregnancy. I just feel like she is really rude and it's not fair when I just want accurate answers you know.. thank you I appreciate your support! I think I might go back to the ER this weekend just to get answers.
