Are babies supposed to be standing at 4ms? I remember with my first born they didn’t recommend something for him to stand in until after six months.

@littleonemorning, I was told that too because of being bull legged so I consulted my doctor because my son literally is ALWAYS trying to stand when I played with him and he said that his legs were pretty sturdy and that it was okay for me to get it now !

@littleonemorning, they said the main concern is the legs not being sturdy and them not standing flat on their feet but he said my son was doing good with it he worked with him for a bit and stuff to make sure he did . And sure enough I guess lol

Bull legged? Do u mean bow legged. I haven't put my 6 month old twins in one yet, I'm afraid of that happening to them, plus I don't feel they are ready because the can't sit unattended or crawl yet.

@ladyfreyja, yeah that’s what I meant 😬😂 and yeah he can sit by himself now . He tries to crawl but can’t crawl yet. Do you have anything you use to help them learn how to sit ? I really always worked with my son cause since he was super young he would always show interest in trying to pull himself up. So if use his boppy and the frog chair thing they sell

I asked their doctor today at their 6 month check up and he just said no they will sit when ready. But thanks for reminding me to bring out my boppy pillows to prop them sitting up. I already have the frog chair

@ladyfreyja, no problem ! Lol yeah he learned to pull himself with the frog chair and then he was always trying to pull himself up when I laid him on the boppy , so I would sit him up and hold his hands and he’d sit for a few seconds at like 2 months . And then gradually just got better

I remember my first son learning to pull himself up using the frog chair too lol

That’s wonderful! I was scared of buying one for my son because my pediatrician recommended against it. I’m still on the fence but I’m thinking of getting the one that doesn’t jump since my son can sit up now.

@roseroro, that’s so weird ! My doctor in jersey and New York said it would be good for him ! But he enjoys it so much !

My pediatrician recommended against it also and all research I did on my own just showed they really aren't beneficial to them... even though it's not beneficial its only harmful if they're in it too much.

@oh.hi, he’s on me a lot . He doesn’t use it everyday. We have a busy life lol
