I guess everyone is different with different pain tolerance because my recovery for my c section was a breeze I never filled the medications they gave me and was walking down to the NICU to see my son the next day
@hail, I thought you meant 6cm I’m like how the hell but Omggggg... I wanted a vbac buttttt I think ima go ahead and get this c section again because naw lol
@kennyshakur, I stopped at a 6 for 7 hours and then they found out I had another water sack and broke it. Then I progressed very quickly. I hit a 10 after an hour. My hips were too narrow so he was stuck for a long time and had trauma to his head. My baby went into shock. I was in labor for over 24 hours and pushed for 2. I got 3rd degree tearing, an episiotomy, and internal tears. They put me through hell when instead they could’ve given me an emergency c section so my son wouldn’t have suffered.
@hail, omg, I’m sorry to hear that so did you really stop at a 6 how’d you push him through that ?
@kennyshakur, Awh honey. Yours makes mine sound like a walk in the park. I’m sorry that you went through that. I got severe puppp at 36 weeks. Basically had huge hives that burned like fire all over my body. I was miserable. I stopped progressing at a 6 because I had 2 water bags (I lost a twin early on in my pregnancy) and instead of giving me a c section, they made me keep going vaginally. My son came out with the heart rate of 45 and wasn’t breathing. We go through hell for our babies huh 😕
@hail, my pregnancy was great last time, I got eclampsia in my 7th month and had seizures and a stroke. They tried to induce me it was taking too long for me to dilate and his heart rate kept dropping so emergency section
Me too girl. Pregnancy was miserable as hell and the delivery was even worse. And now round 2 😂 Timing is great.
@hail, I honestly had been through enough 😩 that was God giving me a break
I just moved so I get a new doctor for this pregnancy, thank god, hopefully he or she is better than the last. I’m glad you weren’t in tremendous pain or anything after. That’s a blessing.
@hail, it’s really nothing in my mind but I guess just have a great doctor
This makes me feel better about having one. I’ve been non-stop stressing 😕
My csection recovery was a little bit easier than my vbac recovery
@kennyshakur, oh man, it’s crappy to have to deal with contractions, and then have to have surgery anyways! I feel you on that!
@mct, it was a pretty rough recovery. I’m thankful we were both okay, but it was pretty scary and exhausting nonetheless.
@scruffy.nerf.herder that sounds horrible. I was never lucky enough to even experience a contraction with either. I'm actually really sad about it. I can't imagine how exhausted you must have been and then having surgery on top of it. One amazing birth story though!
@scruffy.nerf.herder, yes I did, it wasn’t progressing so I had to have an emergency c section
@mct, did you labor before your section? That makes a ton of difference in pain experienced.
I was in labor for 20 hours and then pushed for 2 hours before getting a C-section. I felt like I had run a marathon and then had a truck run over me. It was hell.
@kennyshakur yeah. The Dr saw me walking the halls once catheter was removed and he shocked. He said aren't you in pain and I said I felt fine other than the pain meds making me itch. My mom said she couldn't believe it. She had two c-sections and it took her over a month to do what I was doing when I got out.
@mct, I was carrying groceries when I went home & everything lol
I was this way with both of mine. I couldn't figure out why so many people were saying it was so rough. I just figured I got really lucky.
@hollieletcher01, yes so relatable they was trying to put me in a wheelchair lol I’m like I can walk 😂 idk how others incision looks so idk of mine Is good or not but I know recovery was amazing
Girl I snapped back after my csection too. I never took the meds. I didn’t even get them filled. I felt fantastic. It’s only been 2 weeks and I feel like I’m completely healed although I know I’m actually not. Everyone keeps telling me you sure are getting around good and some people didn’t even realize I had a csection. My dr is amazing also. You can’t even see my incision unless you really look.
@peanutbuttajelly27, me too! I don’t even care lol. They’re comfortable.
@roseroro @kennyshakur i didnt know what hurt more my boobs or my incision. I did take the pain meds. & yes til this day i cant have jeans or underwear rub it. Its gotten alot better , i still wear my maternity shorts/pants🙆 lmao
@roseroro, ohh I never thought about that !
@kennyshakur, could also be a combination of pain tolerance and how your doctor performed the surgery. If they did a good job, there would be much less pain. I had more pain on the sides of my incision because they weren’t sewn as tightly as they could have been. 6 months later, I still can’t wear pants on my incision because it’s tender.
@roseroro, never felt any pain maybe I’m just weird lol idk
I was good after two weeks but the pain was serious. Never experienced that kind of pain in my life. In hindsight, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I didn’t take the pain meds after I left the hospital because they made me feel like I wasn’t in control of my body. Lots of rest and fluids helped.
@peanutbuttajelly27, that’s the crazy part when I woke up from my c section which was like 4 hours later I was completely fine they tried to give me medication but I declined I was just so amazed by my incision it felt like nothing ever happened 😭
I was the same, i had emergency c section 1230am by like 11am i was walking down to the nicu. Not gonna lie tho i was pretty numb for days and still a little sore. And was definitley really sore when it all wore off. I still walked and did what i had to tho.
@faithhopelove, that’s terrible I hope if I have to have another one it’s as easy as the first
That's how I was with my second c section. Now my first is a totally different story. It was the most painful thing ever and I couldn't even stand up straight for like two months
However I was SO fascinated with my incision like wow I was really open 😂😂😂
I wish my kids had a different father
My water broke this morning around 3 something. I got up to pee two different times and it started running down my leg. How long until I go into labor?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Do y'all see any difference in my belly in the right picture I can feel that baby girl has dropped some but I don't think it shows in my belly
My cat stopped eating her canned food. I tried different brands and different tastes 🤔
@kennyshakur, oh god no. Just stuck at 6 for awhile and wasn’t progressing. When they told me I’ll have to have a c section this time I wasn’t too upset lmao
