Should be anything but hot foods. You can still get the prepared stuff from the deli too just has to be what they packaged and put out in the cooler. Also, just a tip lol in your non-chain groceries (or as some one else said ghetto stores) anything labeled “grocery” can be purchased with it bc the items aren’t recorded individually. Haven’t had stamps myself in a long time but have several friends that go to small corner stores bc they can get other items.

Food stamps covers all food items unless it is hot (already made, ready to serve)

You can buy formula, baby food, toddler snacks, candy, soda, deli lunch meat, macaroni salad, etc. no taxes. In Ohio they don’t tax soda either.

if it’s edible than yes, you can’t buy like toothpaste ect unless you receive cash assistance than you use the same card to buy toiletries or other non food items

A friend of mine has food stamps and She can buy anything as long as it isn’t hot ... She buy anything from bakery, deli area, seafood area etc and even hoagies, smoothies etc from wawa (not sure if u have that there lol)
